• Dance Advantage is for dance educators, students, and parents.
• Nichelle began Dance Advantage to share her thoughts about dance education with others. Knowing that most teachers never have time to say all that they want about dance, technique, dance history, and the dance world, she sought to offer a resource in which those pursuing dance could both discover new things and solidify concepts.
• Articles for students range in topic from tips and advice for refining technique, to spotlighting dancewear or products.
• Teachers can find information for dealing with behavior issues in class, enhancing one’s classes, and locating resources for dance on the web.
• Parents can find posts on what to look for in quality instruction, how to make the most of their child’s dance experience, and where to find dance-related gear and gifts.
• Dance Advantage also highlights news and reviews within the dance world and offers links and recommends resources that will benefit those pursuing or studying dance.
• Dance Advantage also has a sister social network called Dance Advantage Interactive that gives dancers, teachers, and parents the opportunity to interact with one another.

1. Utilize resources to refresh and refine your classes, teaching methods, or your dance school.
2. Send students or parents to the site as a supplement to your teaching.
3. Get new ideas for choreography, performances, or just be inspired!

• Students-

1. Use resources to dig deeper and plant seeds in the foundation of your dance education. You are responsible for your own learning experience – this doesn’t mean you should teach yourself, it means that to grow as a dancer you must take an active roll.
2. Discover new dance products, fun websites and tools, and ways to improve your dancing.
3. To gain inspiration from what you read in the articles and apply this to your study.

• Parents-

1. Visit the site to educate yourself in the art and study of dance so that you are knowledgeable when talking with your student or their dance teachers.
2. Discover ways that you can expand and improve your child’s dance experience.
