Sunday Snapshot: Tutus And Tickling Ivories

©momof2ballerinas

Ginny is a Dance Advantage reader and her Flickr handle (momof2ballerinas) says it all. This photo of her daughter Cammie, was taken at a dance rehearsal this year. “While waiting to perform her ballet dance, she was playing the piano in the dressing room. I couldn’t resist snapping some shots of her while playing the few songs she knew. This photo turned out to be my favorite.”

About the photographer: Ginny is the mother of two daughters, both of whom dance. Photography is a hobby for which she’s had an interest since childhood. She studied the craft for several years during high school. She danced when she was younger and has been a “dance mom” for nine years. “With dance being a passion for both of my daughters, it is only natural that it is my favorite thing to photograph.”
