Sunday Snapshot: Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

Dance studios are alive right now as dance recital costumes are rolling in. Students finalize and perfect their performance numbers, parents flurry in and out of offices, and teachers and studio owners hope for the best while preparing for the worst… just in case! The vibrant color of this sweet memory reminds me that the time is at hand for these special events. Dance Advantage wishes all who are preparing for their spring recitals and performances the very best.

About the Author: Tom Sparks grew up in Illinois and began taking photographs with a Kodak Hawkeye Brownie Flash camera when he was eight years old. He was in the photography class and clubs in junior high school and had fun discovering the creative process in the dark room. Before Tom moved to Japan in 1981, he bought his first SLR camera. A serious interest in photography developed while living abroad and in 1983 he moved to Utah, where he has lived ever since. Tom loves photographing people, particularly on stage, fashion, boudoir, and lifestyle. You can visit Tom’s website for more about Tom and his work.
