Thank you for this post. Powerful and inspirational. As I go off to teach at an elementary school today, I take the message of this article with me. The medium of dance is powerful for connecting people, cultures and experiences. I always feel that dance is how I choose to teach about connecting, opening your “personal voice,” and unlocking the power of creativity.

As the dancer has an opportunity to share and be heard, the audience, as a collective group, becomes a witness to others experiences. I can’t think of anything more beautiful or profound.

Again, thank you for sharing your story about this wonderful organization.
