It may be a matter of personal preference but I would say Dance Instructor. Independent Contractor doesn't say a lot about what you do (though you could mention that you are available for hire as an independent contractor). And to my ear Dance Teacher sounds less professional - but again just me! I will put this question out to others and let you know! There may be other options too. That’s a good question!
